This is really fast but I am well and it is cold. It might snow tonight. It is beautiful though. I haven't done much yet. I slept all of yesterday but I did run this morning. Not much of course and my breathing was very labored but it felt wonderful. Now I get to wait a week until I can run again but there is nice grass everywhere.

I had my first geo class without you today. It was cold and I kept wanting to laugh and could not. The proffesor kept writing dirty things on the board and I was the only one to notice. He kept abreviating analysis and polarizer with POL + ANAL. What was I to think about? It looks like a lot of lab time and videos but I will survive. Also, the only people I have met so far are americans through a program with butler university. Kelly, guess what everyone so far's favorite band is? Think about your big fat cousin and bears fishing off of shoulder bones. They do not understand any of my music so I am looking for people to discuss Shakira and Britney with but at least of the americans there is no one. They are all really nice though besides the music thing.

Sunday, July 21, 2002 : The blogger dilema

The school computer would not let me open the account it said I didn't have the cookies. I don't know what that means but it got me started thinking about cookies. Mmmm cookies. Thank you for setting that up for me though. I will keep trying to figure it out. I went to the beach this weekend. it is actually only a bus ride away. I had a good time although I got shat upon by a sea gull and almost hit in the head by a rugby ball. It was beatiful but too cold to go swimming. I also saw the greatest geology diorama EVER. It was of a volcano and was motion sensored so when I
walked up it started blowing hot air and there were cool light effects. No one else was as impressed as I was. You two (kelly & tracy) would have loved it. I will try to build you one when I get home. I think I could do it with a strobe light and a hair dryer.

I am well just having fun with class even though there are a lot of negative people. They walk out of class and complain about how boring it is. Minerology was as boring as anything but we had fun most of the time. It is all what you make out of it but so far no one I have met understands that. It makes me realize how special you (tracy) and kelly are.

I have met a huge number of Americans from the south and am now starting to talk like them. It is scary. I really haven't met many Kiwis yet. One of my flat mates is a kiwi but he wants to be a cowboy and listens to country music and wears tight jeans and a cowboy hat. Geology class is alright . So far it is a review of Mineralogy but instead of having M&M's we have rugby balls and curling stones. No joke. The professor is dead boring and there are no cool TA's staring at the hot chick next to me to make faces at. First off there is no hot chick next to me and secondly the TA is only in lab and so far he is no fun. Other than that i have met a few geo majors but none yet fit into the category of geo dork. They are still on the nerd level but a few have promise. I went on a long romantic walk along the beach by my self the other day. It was wonderful. I hardly saw any people. It is funny; Not many people go to the beach in the dead of winter. I chased some seagulls and got my shoes wet but it was a good time. Other than all of that I am good. This is so long because i am wasting time as my first lecture was canceled. I am doing this in place of
