I was standing in the garage sorting through boxes trying to figure out what to take with me when my dad came out and asked if i felt as though I was surrounded by my life. I did. i had been reading through some of my old travel journals. It is funny how something that seemed so shocking when I was 18 just seems funny or common now. I've had some good times. It is tough deciding which books and rocks to take. I decided I have to leave most of my teaching rocks here. They are big and heavy. Besides taking a trip down memory lane, i have spent most of the night avoiding packing. I made some new cards with my drawings from canyonlands. Technically, it was a present for my mom but it could have waited until I got to Seattle. I also spent a long time on the phone. I talked to my sisters and my grandma. I also got to talk to Tom:). Take me with you to Antartica. One thought from earlier today. Livin' on a prayer may be the best driving song EVER. Whoa-o we're half way there....
