Strange story, as I posted earlier, I am in charge of trying to get SRTM DEM's for Tanya of Kamchatka. Well, the ones I want (resolution 30m0 are released and available for free on the internet for the US but, do to US national security concerns, the same resolution for the rest of the world is unavaible. Strange, huh? in more fun news has anyone seen the program nasa world wind? My friend downloaded it and it is like a geo wall for the whole world. It is topos, INSAR and aerial photos draped over topography. Such a good distraction. Even though I was then at school 'til ten doing my math HW. Oh, well.
