Really, what is the world coming to? This article makes me a little sad and quite a bit scared for the future especially the last paragraph. I hate censorship and people having to make uninformed decisions.

While I agree with your take on this article, keep in mind that there is a bit of partisan spin going on here. Democratic congressmen will go some lengths to show that abstinance-only sex-ed programs are flawed in order to get their comprehensive sex-ed programs funded. To do this, they will nitpick and exaggerate to get public opinion on their side.
