The world cup is coming up and everyone is getting pretty excited around here. Well, mainly Nic and Philipp (who by the way made the most complicated excel spreadsheet I have ever seen for the pool) are the obsessive ones. I am learning all about the subtleties of soccer. This article, explaining why not to go into business with family, is some of what I have learned so far.

Meep! I know nothing about football/soccer. In England, I learned a couple of awful chants that meant to degrade the opposing team. "When I go out I get real drunk and I get really plastered. Then I go home and beat my wife cause I'm a (REGION) bastard!"
Is the world cup going to be in Seattle? I miss you Beth.
