In retelling my journeys, as in making them, I do not know how to stop -- Rousseau

Must keep own identity. So, this week Bre changed her masters project to exactly the same thing I am doing, just for a tsunami that occured three years after mine. The problem is, she is super competetive with me. I haven't figured out how to deal with this yet. I am still at the sabatague stage of mind. We take the same classes, have the same advisor and do work in the same area. Why did she have to choose the same project as me? The main problem is, she is always has to prove to everyone that she is doing more work than me. Otherwise, life is good. My work is going well. I like my classes. I am taking sedimentary structures and a coastal margins class with a field trip to New Orleans and the Mississippi delta over spring break. I am excited about that. I also have a couple cool outreach projects coming up.

Arg. It seems to be commonplace for people to be competitive with you. Let me know if you need me to do any covert operations. Consider me your "Gun For Hire."

Thanks Kelly. Right now I am just in the plotting stage but it is good to know you've got my back.
