Luckily, it has been a sunny November unlike last year the rainiest month on record for Seattle. I was out in the field this weekend. A lack of rain is not the same as warmth here. Here are some pictures of cold things for people in warmer clima

WOW! are those icicles on barnacles???? I can say I have never in my life seen such a thing. All of my barnacle memories are in nice hot FL weather. How strange but absolutely gorgeous :c)
