Acting my age

Since we got Ceiba I have begun to feel very old. I don't think its the responsibility, maybe just the perspective. We take Ceiba for a walk around the park every night before bed. I always find myself commenting "What are people doing up at midnight on a ___day (any day of the week), don't they have somewhere to be in the morning?" This is usually followed by something to along the lines of "Who juggles fire anyway?" I feel like I am one step away from being a crotchity old person yelling, "Go home you hoodlums/hippies! Get a job!"

As my dad often says, "growing old sucks."

haha. I say stuff like that all the time :cP I think especially when you are around college kids you are confronted with their madness and it makes you feel even older for recognizing they are bonkers but I've felt that way a long time.

You aren't old. As long as we can still skip and go naked you're all good.

I'm totally old. My friends out at the USGS called me an old, used-up spinster. :c)
