hAPPY NEW YEAR. fOR nEW YEARS i PUT ON MY TRAMPING BOOTS AND WENT TO THE hOOKER VALLEY. aCTUALLY IT WAS A HUT ON A MOUNTAIN OVER LOOKING THE HOOKER VALLEY. bUT i GOT TO MAKE AND LATER TACKLE A SNOW MAN. iT WAS GREAT. Woops, caps lock. We stayed in a little hut WAY up a mountain for two nights and played in the snow and climbed mountains. We climbed mountains simply to sled down them on pack covers. Kelly, I tryed the duck and roll method we debated in field camp. After two rolls I ended up increadibly dizzy and slidding down backwards. I think with practice it may work. Today my sisters and I went to the rodeo in wanaka. Any US rodeo person could have cleaned up but it was still great fun. Now we are in queenstown for a night or two before Robin leaves on the 5th. It has been such a good time hanging out with my sisters. I will be sad when robin leaves but it is only 13 days untill I follow her. Ack. It is weird to think that I will be leaving. I am excited to see you all though. Love to all. I miss you.
