I got to go teach 8th graders today about minerals. i miss teaching. it was a lot of fun. In other exciting news, i saw my first opossum over the weekend. It apparently lives in the tree across from my apartment. Speaking of my apartment, my complex managers changed my mailbox key for no obvious reason and didn't bother to tell me. Only my mailbox too. Mrf. Oh well. Love to all!

Do you pronounce the beginning "O" in "Opossum"?

Opossum is the american marsupial. People in the south tend to drop the "o". I have always learned possums are the australian and opossums are the american animals. I think it depends on who you are talking to.
