Since being in Seattle, I have manage to accumulate a friend from Duke, friends from Stanford and friends from Notre Dame. Luckily, the Stanford people are not sports fans but I already endured one Duke basketball season and am about to start my first football season with Notre Dame fans. These are my least favorite teams but people take such offense if you tell them that. Plus, the Notre Dame people keep abbreviating it ND. I immediately think of tatertot hotdish and speaking in a NoDak accent. This does not help the situation any. Sorry, there are no other sports fans in my office and I need to vent as I have promised to hang out with 50+ drunken Notre Dame fans who are in town for the game this weekend. I plant to wear Washington gear and may get my butt kicked. Slight digression from exam preparations.
