Here are some pictures from Jean Laffite. All of the embarassing pictures of me are on other peoples cameras so you will have to wait for those. Louisiana was a lot of fun. All and all the trip went really well. New Orleans was a mix of a very beautiful, interesting city and very sad one. It will take a long time for it to recover. The rest of the trip was spent going to the river diversion projects and looking at all of the delta processes and drinking a lot of beer and wine while driving in a 15 passenger van. Suprisingly, I am now known for drinking half a jar of pickled okra juice for 15 dollars. It is strange what actions will impress people.
