Back! it was great, well besides the biting flies that covered my face and other body parts in bites. The destruction was very impressive lots of casino barges that had run into parking garages and condos. We avoided getting arrested, eaten by alligators, and catching what ever bio hazards are now living in the Biloxi Bay. We didn't see the alligator though we did see there tracks. There were a lot of dolphins which made me wonder if they had frickin' laser beams attatched to them (see earlier blog). We camped out on Deer Island and worked for 6 days. We were just across the bay from these images (Biloxi coast before and after) Hig and I spent one night doing an outreach talk for a group of hippies working a relief cafe. Hig's sister was working there. It was nice to do a mix of science and volunteer (we served meals and washed dishes). Now back to school. Love to all.

Wow, Beth. That sounds like an emotional, but awesome experience. Way to go!
